as the purpose of the speech

Clearly identify who is going to be hearing the
speech – age, concerns, context, culture
3.
Write your speech guided by your topic, who the audience
is and what your objectives are.
4.
Compile as much backup information as possible.
5.
Take the backup information and put it on the
lecturn.
6.
Leave it there, that’s for when God stops talking
to you.
7. Deliver
your speech as if it’s your last
