The pitfalls of being emotionally aware and fearless in the face of emotional issues

Most business coaches and business consultants

appear to shy away from dealing with a client with

emotional issues or issues of life transition..

They don't need to be that way, coaching is a powerful tool to use for this purpose when working through emotional issues.

However, if you are confident with dealing with emotional issues,

beware of giving advice from your own experience.

Even when your client asks you for advice, make sure you have

asked enough good quality questions, to help them think resourcefully.

If you have done your work as a coach well, they will have no need for your advice.

Only give advice when you are not working as a coach.

Even then, you risk giving something that is not wanted or needed.
