Time for some Self Care

And after years of neglecting yourself,

sitting yourself in a corner and feeding you bread and water....

While you busied yourself convincing the world,

that everything was under control on your watch.

That you were in charge, you knew the score, and that scowl on your face,

was for the world and definitely was not a cry for help.....

When you finally let it in, the truth of it all,

and the tears and the angst finally flowed,

When you admit it was all a sham and that really it had been a hollow victory....

....all along.

Then the real work begins, not with effort and toil from you,

but a gentle unfolding, like a flower in bloom....

Insight leads to insight, unraveling your twisted work,

Softly you become what you always have been....

Naked to yourself and in the sun, you say:

"I used to be different, but now I'm the same."

This is only the beginning. Get to know clarity. Email me, Mike Kennedy...
