You listen without yourself in the agenda.
When there is no benefit to you personally, like looking smart, keeping your client, or playing it safe.
When there is no opportunity for you to push your opinions, your worldview or your favorite technique.
When there is no pattern on your part such as "Rescue" or "Show Pony" or "Scene Stealer".
Brilliant coaches are invisible to their clients. The clients of the best coaches, only ever see their own brilliant solutions and achievements. They never know what brilliance of technique and application their coaches have given them.
Your best coaching happens when you have disappeared.
