"DON'T PANIC!" Advises a Professor of Economics and Finances at Victoria University, Wellington.

Last week I spoke to my mum, who has been through the Great Depression, World War 2, The Cold War, the 1987 crash as well as bearing and raising three kids through the Baby Boomer years.

I asked her for her advice about how to conduct myself through these troubled and uncertain times.

She said: "Mike - it's not time to put your foot on the brake, it's time to put the accellerator to the floor and move forward as fast and as far as you can!"

I'm the lucky one! Who else has a mum like mine?

So, when Tina Webb of Homelink, sent me this link to this article with a Professor of Economics & Finance from Victoria University saying pretty much the same thing, I couldn't wait to post it and share it with you.

It's all a bit unreal, the credit crunch, but if there's a message coming out of it, it's engraved on the cover of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe: "Don't Panic."
