Caveat Emptor!

A client asked me to check out a website marketing life changing technologies.

I clicked on and was immediately impressed by a very slick and well presented website, with lots of expensive tricks.

I clicked onto the "about the founders" button and found three sentences describing each of the two founders and started to feel a bit uncomfortable with these people who didn't list their backgrounds or credentials or achievements.

When I clicked onto the products page, I found a great looking package but very little description of what was inside of it.

Packaging is always credible, very seductive and impressive. So much so that it frightens me sometimes.

I went down further in the google listings and noted that the business was on the lists of consumer watchdog sites as a rip off and read detailed reports about the company.

Once again, all that glitters is not gold.

Many a worthy product languishes because of a lack of understanding of packaging.

Many a person rues buying influenced by the wonderful packaging, not the substance.
