Standing for Something.

Whe it comes to dust,

That's all we've got.

Who we are,

is all that there is of us.

That's why we suffer willingly

in the face of the things we have to stand for,

just because of who we are.

That's why when we see another stand for something,

we stand a little taller, feel a little stronger.

And, right now, all over the world,

People are standing for something,

Instead of falling for anything.

It's inspiring when you see it.

Whistle blowers, demonstrators, Prime Ministers,

 Major Generals and coaches  too,

Standing for something, not falling for anything.
