The Ghost in the Machine

When Seth Godin pointed out that

the toilets,

even though they are not a money making facility in Disneyland,

are always clean,

and defined that the reason that they were clean,

was that someone cared......

and that care, is indeed a contributing factor,

to people coming from all over the globe to visit Disneyland,

and that care, is indeed an integral and essential part of the customer experience.

We want to know that someone cares.

The saying that's always fascinated me:

"You don't care how much we know,
