The last Career Guide you will ever need!

I've been drinking up Daniel Pink's amazing book, A Whole New Mind and did a search on him and found he has written a career guide in the form of Manga Cartoons. My nephew Louis has attempted to introduce me to this amazing art form and international communication tool in the past and I've finally got it!

Daniel Pink has utilised this art form to write his book, The Adventures of Johnny Bunko. This book is all about how to put a career strategy together utilising our unique strengths and abilities.

After many years of working as a career coach and railing against traditional "Career Guidance" processes, I have seen the impact of countless well meaning parents nudging their kids towards careers that make sense to them, but don't relate to their kids unique natural abilities and interests.

This beatifully crafted story relates to you and me - check out the link and you will discover the secret about the parental career "Plan". Also find out about the "Truth" and how it is right in front of us, waiting for us to see.

Not only a great introduction to Manga, but an eye opening raising of your awareness distinction that encourages you to listen for your own unique strengths and abilities.

Click onto The Adventures of Johnny Bunko! (be patient as it takes a little time to load up) and see if you can find yourself there.

The book, which you can read in an hour, tells the story of Johnny Bunko, a beleaguered Everyman toiling away at the Boggs Corp.

One night Johnny meets Diana, (this link shows what a coach she is!) a magical and butt-kicking adviser who teaches Johnny -- and you -- the six lessons of satisfying, productive careers:
1. There is no plan.
2. Think strengths, not weaknesses
3. It’s not about you.
4. Persistence trumps talent.
5. Make excellent mistakes
6. Leave an imprint.
