Ah hullo traveller, what kept you?

What do you mean what kept me?

Every traveller has their journey, and every journey has it's lessons,

And who can say if the lesson is not calling the traveller forth to meet it?

So who are you? Why should I listen to you?

I am a mirror along your journey's way, to help you find your clarity within.

So who then are you? Why should I trust you?

I am the space that holds forth your vision, that hears your dreams and your goals. Why should you not trust me if you know me not, when much of you is a mystery unto yourself? Who can you trust if you know not yourself?

Fair enough, but you still haven't answered my question!

My name is Yoda, and I have a message for you.

Well how do you do Yoda! What is your message?

My message comes in the form of a question and from that question will spring forth the message from within you. For all wisdom and all knowledge lives within you and your next part of your journey and indeed the next lesson for you will be revealed only by looking within.

You are wise Yoda or really foolish....or both! But I will listen to your question. Ask away!

My question is this o Traveller - "what do you want? What do you really, really want? What do you really really need? Do you know?

The traveller went quiet as his attention went inward. His thoughts were racing with this question. No-one had ever bothered to ask him what he wanted. They were too busy telling him what they wanted. He didn't know where to look for this answer. He didn't know what he really really wanted. His hands were shaking as he realised that he had been living a life that had nothing to do with what he wanted but everything to do with what everyone else wanted. His breathing was laboured and heavy as he confronted that his life was not his own.

Suddenly everything became clear. He saw clearly for the first time the things that he had always wanted - he saw what was important - what he really needed right now, so he could clear the way forward so that he could start working to have the things in his life that he wanted.

He was transformed. He was born anew. His whole point of view had moved and he was for the first time in his life, free.

He opened his eyes and saw Yoda smiling back at him.

You know now what you want and what you have to do. You have done well o Traveller. You have had the conversation with yourself that you have come to me to have. Your journey has given you your lesson and now it's time to use this lesson to transform your life.

Go now and do what needs to be done.
